Pre-college evaluation
Pre-College Evaluation is an annual event that allows students to perform and receive adjudication from professional educators to refine their talents and develop musical discipline.

Performances
- Time limits are strictly observed.
- Only original music may be used, with the exception of Piano Ensemble, Guitar & Voice – all Grades, Strings, Brass and Woodwinds – Grades 7 & Below, for which arrangements will be accepted.
- No photocopied music may be used by the soloist, the collaborative pianist, or the judge. The use of computergenerated music (i.e. music from CD rom from publisher) is permitted only if the music contains copyright information.
Grade Divisions
Students are encouraged to participate in their school grade.
Students who have skipped a grade academically may choose to enter at that grade or at the grade that their birth year reflects.
Ratings
SUPERIOR (90-100)
EXCELLENT (80-89)
GOOD (70-79)
NEEDS IMPROVEMENT (60 – 69)
There will be no scores below 60. Judges will be carefully instructed in procedures before beginning adjudications.
